Steak & Cheese Dirty Fries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound steak, thinly sliced
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 small onion, diced
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 2 cups frozen French fries
06 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
07 - 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
08 - 4 large flour tortillas
09 - 1/2 cup sour cream
10 - 1/2 cup salsa
11 - 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
12 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
13 - 1 teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once hot, add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
02 - Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another 30 seconds, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
03 - Season the steak slices with salt and black pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned and cooked through.
04 - Remove the steak and onion mixture from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
05 - In the same skillet, add the frozen French fries and cook according to the package instructions until golden and crispy.
06 - Once the fries are cooked, add the steak and onion mixture back into the skillet with the fries. Stir everything together and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
07 - While the mixture is cooking, warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for about 10-15 seconds until soft and pliable.
08 - Lay the warm tortillas flat on a clean surface. Evenly distribute the steak, onion, and fries mixture onto the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the mixture.
09 - Carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up from the bottom, securing all the ingredients inside.
10 - Heat a separate large skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Place each rolled burrito seam side down in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy.
11 - In a small bowl, combine the sour cream and salsa, mixing until well combined.
12 - Slice the burritos in half and drizzle the sour cream and salsa mixture over the top. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Use a tender cut of steak like flank or skirt steak for the best texture.
02 - For extra flavor, marinate the steak with your favorite seasoning or sauce before cooking.
03 - You can substitute frozen French fries with homemade fries or tater tots.
04 - To make the burritos spicier, add jalapenos to the steak and onion mixture.
05 - For a healthier option, try using whole wheat tortillas or low-fat cheese.
