In a medium-sized bowl, mix crushed graham crackers, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and salted butter until smooth. Using a teaspoon-sized scoop, measure the dough and roll it into balls. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let them chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Melt the chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave.

Using a fork or two spoons, dip the peanut butter balls into the melted chocolate. Transfer them back to the parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle on chopped peanuts or sprinkles if desired.

Once all the peanut butter balls are chocolate-covered, place the sheet back into the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
