Parmesan Crusted Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken Ingredients

01 - 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large ones, sliced in half)
02 - Salt and pepper, as needed
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ Garlic Cream Sauce Ingredients

04 - 3-4 garlic cloves, finely minced
05 - 1 cup of light cream or heavy cream
06 - 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning or dried oregano
07 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
08 - 1 cup of chopped spinach (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Sprinkle salt and pepper across the chicken breasts on both sides. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once heated, place the chicken in the pan and cook for around 5-6 minutes on each side until the outside is golden and crisp. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
02 - Reduce the skillet’s heat to low and add the minced garlic. Let the garlic sauté for about 30 seconds. Gradually add the cream to the skillet, stirring continuously. Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese, stirring until everything combines smoothly. If using, add in the chopped spinach and allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
03 - Place the cooked chicken back into the skillet and spoon the garlic cream sauce over it. Let it simmer on low heat for about 1 minute before removing the pan from the stove. Serve the dish warm with your preferred sides such as pasta, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes.

# Notes:

01 - Coating the chicken with a Parmesan-panko breadcrumb mixture can make it even crispier.
02 - Add red pepper flakes into the sauce if you're aiming for a spicier flavor.
03 - Using freshly grated Parmesan cheese will ensure the richest flavor.
