One-Pan Italian Sausage Orzo (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb Italian sausage (sweet or spicy)
02 - 1 cup orzo pasta
03 - 1 bell pepper, diced
04 - 1 yellow onion, chopped
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 14 oz canned diced tomatoes with juices
07 - 2 cups fresh spinach
08 - 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
09 - 1 tsp dried basil
10 - 1 tsp dried oregano
11 - Olive oil

# Instructions:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced Italian sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
02 - Stir in chopped onion, diced bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
03 - Add orzo pasta, diced tomatoes with juices, and chicken broth. Bring to a gentle boil while stirring.
04 - Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until orzo is tender and most liquid is absorbed, about 10-12 minutes. Stir occasionally.
05 - Fold in fresh spinach, dried basil, and dried oregano. Cook until spinach wilts, about 2 minutes. Serve warm.
