# Ingredients:

→ Dry ingredients

01 - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 tsp baking powder
03 - 1/2 tsp baking soda
04 - 1/2 tsp salt

→ Wet ingredients

05 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
06 - 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
07 - 1 large egg
08 - 1 tbsp cotton candy extract (or 1/2 tsp vanilla + 1/2 tsp raspberry extract)

→ Color & toppings

09 - 3–4 drops pink food coloring
10 - 3–4 drops blue food coloring
11 - 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
12 - 1/2 cup crushed cotton candy (optional, for topping)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
03 - In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes). Add egg and cotton candy extract, mixing until combined.
04 - Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until fully combined.
05 - Divide the dough into two equal portions. Add pink food coloring to one half and blue food coloring to the other. Gently mix each portion until the color is even.
06 - Take a small piece of pink dough and a small piece of blue dough, press them together, and gently roll into a ball. Place on the baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
07 - Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
08 - While warm, sprinkle with crushed cotton candy or drizzle with melted white chocolate.

# Notes:

01 - For added flavor, include white chocolate chips or a pinch of sea salt. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days for the best freshness.
