Caramel Nutella Brownies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Brownie Layer

01 - 1 cup melted unsalted butter (2 sticks)
02 - 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
03 - ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
04 - 3 large eggs
05 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
06 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
07 - ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
08 - ½ teaspoon salt
09 - ½ teaspoon baking powder

→ Cheesecake Layer

10 - 8 oz softened cream cheese
11 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
12 - 1 large egg
13 - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Caramel and Nutella Topping

14 - ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or made at home)
15 - ½ cup Nutella, slightly warmed for easier drizzling

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar in a large mixing bowl and whisk until smooth. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract. In another bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just blended.
02 - In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until creamy and smooth.
03 - Spread out ¾ of the brownie batter into the lined baking dish. Add spoonfuls of the cheesecake mixture on top. Drop the remaining brownie batter in chunks over the top. Use a knife to swirl the layers gently.
04 - Drizzle warmed caramel sauce and Nutella over the top of the swirled brownie-cheesecake layers. Use a toothpick or knife to create light swirls.
05 - Bake the pan in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let the brownies cool completely before slicing and serving.
06 - Enjoy these decadent brownies at room temperature or warmed slightly for a gooey texture. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.

# Notes:

01 - For a more robust chocolate flavor, opt for dark cocoa powder.
02 - If you enjoy a sweet-salty contrast, sprinkle flaky sea salt over the caramel before baking.
