05 - 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese

08 - Cooking spray or olive oil for brushing
09 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Optional for Serving

10 - Sour cream
11 - Salsa
12 - Guacamole

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
03 - Add taco seasoning and water to the beef, stirring until well combined. Let it simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens and the flavors meld together.
04 - Place a tortilla on a flat surface, spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the beef mixture onto the center, then sprinkle with a generous amount of shredded cheese. Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling and place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
05 - Lightly spray the taquitos with cooking spray or brush with a small amount of olive oil to help them crisp up during baking.
06 - Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping the taquitos halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
07 - Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.

# Notes:

01 - Corn tortillas are traditional and provide a unique texture, but flour tortillas are more flexible and easier to roll. Use small, thin flour tortillas for best results.
02 - Experiment with fillings such as ground turkey, shredded chicken, black beans, or sweet potatoes for variation.
03 - Assembled taquitos can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking. Cover them tightly and bake when ready for best quality.
