In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with diced onion and bell pepper until the beef is browned and vegetables are tender, about 7–10 minutes. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes until the mixture is heated through.

While the meat mixture simmers, place Texas toast slices on a baking sheet and bake according to package directions until golden brown.
