# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 16 ounces cream cheese
02 - 12 ounces smoked salmon or regular salmon plus 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
03 - 2 tablespoons sour cream
04 - 1/2 cup red onion, finely diced
05 - 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
06 - 1 cup pecans, roughly chopped
07 - 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (chives, parsley, dill), chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Add the cream cheese, sour cream, salmon, red onion, and lemon pepper to a mixing bowl.
02 - Use your hands to mix everything together, or alternatively, use a stand mixer.
03 - Shape the cheese mixture into a ball using your hands. If it’s too soft, chill for 30 minutes before forming.
04 - Mix together the chopped pecans and fresh herbs. Spread them in a single layer on a plate or cutting board.
05 - Roll the cheese ball in the pecan and herb mixture until fully coated.
06 - Serve immediately with crackers or veggie slices. Alternatively, refrigerate until ready to serve for enhanced flavor.

# Notes:

01 - The flavor of the cheese ball intensifies after refrigeration, so it can be prepared a day in advance.
02 - This recipe can be made dairy-free by substituting vegan cream cheese.
