Slow Cooker BBQ Brisket (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 ½ cups BBQ sauce
02 - 2 ½ lb beef brisket
03 - 6 burger buns
04 - Toppings: pickles, onions, slaw, additional BBQ sauce

→ Smokey BBQ Spice Rub

05 - 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
06 - 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
09 - 1 teaspoon salt
10 - 1 teaspoon pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Pour 1 cup of BBQ sauce into the slow cooker.
02 - Combine light brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to make the Smokey BBQ Rub.
03 - Rub the Smokey BBQ Rub all over the brisket to coat it evenly.
04 - Place the seasoned beef brisket into the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat for 7-8 hours.
05 - Remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes.
06 - Either shred the brisket or slice it thinly, as preferred.
07 - Serve the brisket on burger buns with toppings like pickles, onions, slaw, and additional BBQ sauce as desired.
