Savory Rotel Sausage Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 1 lb breakfast sausage (hot or mild)
02 - 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
03 - 1 (10 oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, well drained

→ Dough

04 - 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent rolls

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
03 - In a large bowl, combine cooked sausage, cream cheese, and drained Rotel. Stir until well mixed.
04 - Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Spoon a generous tablespoon of filling onto the wide end of each triangle, then roll up and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
05 - Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until golden brown.
06 - Let cool slightly and serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, sprinkle a little shredded cheese inside before rolling.
02 - Make mini versions with crescent roll sheets cut smaller for appetizers.
03 - Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
