In a medium-sized bowl, mix the butter, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth.

Spread the butter mixture evenly over one side of the bread slices. Place the slices butter side up on a sheet tray until ready to use.

Over medium-low heat, place a slice of bread butter side down into a skillet. Add one slice of mozzarella cheese, 6 pepperoni slices, another slice of mozzarella cheese, 6 more pepperoni slices, and a final slice of mozzarella cheese. Place the second slice of bread on top, butter side up.

Place a lid on the skillet to help melt the cheese. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the bottom slice is golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwich. Cover again and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Serve the sandwiches warm with pizza sauce for dipping and enjoy.
