→ Main ingredients

01 - 450g steak, thinly sliced (ribeye or sirloin)
02 - 1 teaspoon garlic salt
03 - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
04 - 1 green bell pepper, sliced
05 - 1 large onion, sliced
06 - 8-10 slices white American cheese
07 - 567g bag frozen waffle cut fries
08 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 220°C so it's ready to melt the cheese.
02 - Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Add thinly sliced steak, season with garlic salt and black pepper, and sauté until browned on all sides. Remove steak and set aside.
03 - Reserve 1 tablespoon of cooking juices in the skillet and discard the rest. Add sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet. Cook until tender but slightly crisp. Remove and set aside with the steak.
04 - Remove the skillet from heat. Spread frozen waffle fries evenly across the bottom. Layer 4 slices of white American cheese, followed by the cooked steak and vegetables. Finish with the remaining cheese slices on top.
05 - Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
06 - Remove the skillet from the oven and let it cool for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately while the cheese is gooey.
