# Ingredients:

01 - 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
02 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
05 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest
06 - 1 teaspoon olive oil
07 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
10 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
11 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
12 - 1 lemon, sliced

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
02 - In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
03 - Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and brush evenly.
04 - Pour the lemon garlic butter mixture over the fillets, ensuring even coverage. Arrange lemon slices on top and around the salmon.
05 - Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. For a crispy top, broil for the last 2 minutes.
06 - Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with your favorite side dishes.

# Notes:

01 - Herb Options: Swap oregano for thyme, basil, or rosemary.
02 - Dairy-Free Option: Use olive oil or dairy-free butter instead of butter.
03 - Spicy Twist: Add more red pepper flakes or a pinch of cayenne.
04 - Grilled Version: Grill over medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side.
