→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
02 - 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
04 - 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
05 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
06 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest
07 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
08 - 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (or 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves)
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - Black pepper, to taste
11 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
12 - Lemon slices (for serving)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, lemon zest, paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
03 - Place the cod fillets in the prepared baking dish in a single layer. Spoon the lemon butter sauce evenly over the fillets, making sure they are well-coated.
04 - Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cod is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
05 - Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and lemon slices. Serve hot with rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad.

# Notes:

01 - Make it spicy: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the lemon butter sauce for a spicy kick.
02 - Use other fish: This recipe works well with haddock, tilapia, or any white fish.
03 - Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
