Honey Garlic Salmon Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Salmon

01 - 1 ½ lb salmon, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes

→ Seasonings

02 - 1 teaspoon paprika
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
05 - ¾ teaspoon salt
06 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Cooking Oil

07 - 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided

→ Aromatics

08 - 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
09 - 1 teaspoon ginger, grated

→ Sauce Ingredients

10 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce
11 - 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
12 - ¼ cup honey

→ Garnish

13 - 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
14 - 2 teaspoons chopped chives

# Instructions:

01 - Pat dry the salmon cubes with a paper towel and season them with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Pour about a tablespoon of oil and massage the salmon cubes.
02 - Heat a heavy skillet with a tablespoon of oil, add the salmon cubes in a single layer, and cook for 4-5 minutes by flipping them often until crispy and golden. Transfer the cooked crispy salmon cubes to a plate and cook the remaining salmon.
03 - To the same skillet, add the remaining oil along with garlic and ginger. Saute for a minute.
04 - Stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey. Simmer the sauce for 3-5 minutes until it thickens.
05 - Transfer the crispy salmon back to the skillet and toss it well with the sauce. Check for seasonings.
06 - Serve the salmon bites over rice and enjoy.

01 - Dry the salmon with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
02 - Cut the salmon into even-sized cubes for uniform cooking.
03 - Marinate the salmon for 30 minutes to an hour if time allows for more flavor.
04 - Use fresh garlic to enhance the sauce's flavor.
05 - Add cayenne pepper to the spice blend to give the salmon a spicy kick.
