Quick Slow Cooker Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Half a cup of soy sauce, make sure it’s the low-sodium kind.
02 - Six chicken thighs, no bone or skin.
03 - Four cloves of garlic, chopped up small.
04 - One-third of a cup of honey.
05 - Half a cup of ketchup, again keep it low-sodium.
06 - Half a teaspoon of oregano, dried works great here.
07 - Two tablespoons of parsley, freshly chopped.
08 - Half a tablespoon of sesame seeds, toast them for more flavor.

# Instructions:

01 - Place the chicken thighs at the bottom of your slow cooker.
02 - Mix together the garlic, parsley, oregano, soy sauce, ketchup, and honey using a whisk.
03 - Pour the mixed sauce all over the chicken, then set the slow cooker to LOW for 4 to 5 hours or turn it to HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, until it reaches 165°F.
04 - If you’d like the sauce thicker, stir in a cornstarch mixture about half an hour before it’s done.
05 - Move the chicken onto plates, drizzle some sauce on top, and sprinkle sesame seeds to finish.

# Notes:

01 - You can swap in bone-in thighs if you prefer.
02 - Cooking times depend on your slow cooker model.
03 - Cornstarch slurry can be used to make the sauce thicker.
