Ground Beef Grilled Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Ground Beef

01 - 1/2 pound ground beef
02 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Bread

03 - 4 slices bread (sourdough, white, or rye)

→ Butter

04 - 2 tablespoons butter, softened

→ Cheese

05 - 4 slices cheddar or American cheese

# Instructions:

01 - In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
02 - Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
03 - On the unbuttered side of two slices, add the ground beef. Layer with cheese and top with the other slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
04 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook each sandwich for 4–5 minutes per side or until golden brown and the cheese is melted through.
05 - Slice in half and serve immediately while warm and melty.
