06 - 1 cup chopped pecans
07 - 8 oz whipped topping or Cool Whip
08 - ΒΌ cup melted chocolate chips (optional for drizzle)

# Instructions:

01 - Mix and bake the German chocolate cake according to the package directions.
02 - After baking, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
03 - Use a fork to create holes all over the surface of the cake.
04 - Combine the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce in a bowl.
05 - Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the warm cake, allowing it to sink into the holes.
