01 - 8 slices brioche or challah bread
02 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 2 tbsp powdered sugar
04 - 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
05 - 1/4 cup strawberry jam
06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 3 tbsp milk
08 - 2 tbsp butter

# Instructions:

01 - Mix softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a small bowl until smooth.
02 - Spread cream cheese mixture onto one side of four slices of bread. Layer sliced strawberries and a spoonful of strawberry jam on top. Place the remaining bread slices on top to form sandwiches.
03 - In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk.
04 - Dip each assembled sandwich into the egg mixture, ensuring all sides are coated evenly.
05 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter, and fry sandwiches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
06 - Remove sandwiches from the skillet, drain on a paper towel-lined plate, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For extra crunch, add chopped nuts, such as almonds or pecans, to the cream cheese mixture.
