Crock Pot Cajun Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

01 - 2 pounds chicken breasts
02 - 2 cups heavy whipping cream
03 - 4 cups chicken broth
04 - 4 tablespoons butter
05 - 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
06 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 pound penne pasta
08 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Add the chicken breasts, heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, butter, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning into a 6-quart crock pot.
02 - Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
03 - Remove the chicken from the crock pot and shred or dice it into large pieces.
04 - Whisk the sauce in the crock pot. Return the chicken back to the crock pot and stir in the uncooked pasta.
05 - Cover and cook on high for 20-30 minutes until the pasta is tender and cooked through.
06 - Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Cover for 5 minutes and allow the cheese to melt.
07 - Serve warm and enjoy!

01 - If you are sensitive to spice, reduce the Cajun seasoning by half.
