Caramel Latte (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons of sweet vanilla syrup.
02 - Caramel topping as needed to decorate.
03 - 12 ounces of milk (low-fat, whole, or non-dairy).
04 - 2 ounces of freshly brewed espresso.

# Instructions:

01 - Brew some espresso with either a stovetop espresso maker or an espresso machine. You can swap this out for 4 ounces of strong, freshly brewed coffee if needed.
02 - Gently heat up your milk, then whip it into foam using a whisk, a frother, or a steam wand from an espresso machine.
03 - Mix the frothy milk with the vanilla syrup in your favorite cup.
04 - Carefully pour the espresso right on top of the foam to leave a nice mark on the surface.
05 - Drizzle caramel all around the edges of your cup in two rings, then make a checkerboard pattern over the foam in the center.

# Notes:

01 - Both regular milk and plant-based milks work fine for this recipe.
02 - If you don’t have espresso, double the amount of strong coffee to replace it.
03 - For added sugar, a bit of caramel sauce can go in the bottom of the cup before mixing.
