Cajun Honey Butter Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 salmon fillets, skin on
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
04 - Salt, to taste
05 - 4 tablespoons butter
06 - 2 tablespoons honey
07 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
08 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
09 - Juice of ½ lemon
10 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
11 - Lemon wedges, for serving
12 - Black sesame seeds, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub each fillet with olive oil and season generously with Cajun seasoning, and salt if needed.
02 - Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets skin-side up and sear for about 3 minutes until they form a nice crust. Flip the salmon over so the skin side is down and cook for another 2 minutes.
03 - While the salmon is cooking, in a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Stir until well combined and simmer for a couple of minutes. Remove from heat and squeeze in the lemon juice.
04 - Pour the honey butter sauce over the salmon fillets. Continue to cook the salmon, spooning the sauce over regularly, for another 3-5 minutes.
05 - Once the salmon is cooked, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, lemon wedges, and sprinkle black sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Pat the salmon dry to help the seasoning stick and create a nice crust.
02 - Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor in the honey butter sauce.
03 - If the salmon is too spicy, reduce the amount of Cajun seasoning.
04 - Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.
