Cajun Chicken with Bell Peppers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cajun Seasoning

01 - 1 teaspoon paprika
02 - ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
03 - ¼ teaspoon oregano
04 - ¼ teaspoon thyme
05 - ¼ teaspoon salt

→ Main Ingredients

06 - 2 small bell peppers, thinly sliced
07 - 4 small chicken breasts
08 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 170g cold cream cheese, sliced into 8 pieces
10 - 60g shredded cheddar cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Combine paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, and salt in a small bowl. Mix thoroughly to create the Cajun spice blend.
02 - Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Arrange thinly sliced bell peppers on the bottom of the casserole dish.
03 - Place chicken breasts on top of the bell peppers. Generously sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the chicken. Distribute minced garlic evenly across the seasoned chicken.
04 - Top each chicken breast with 2 slices of cream cheese, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over everything.
05 - Bake uncovered at 190°C for 20-30 minutes until chicken is completely cooked through. If desired, broil for 2 minutes to achieve a golden top.
06 - To serve, scoop the bell peppers from underneath the chicken and arrange them around and on top of the chicken breasts.
