Caesar Chicken with Asparagus (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - Salt, to taste
03 - Black pepper, to taste
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 1 cup Caesar dressing
06 - 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
07 - 1 pound asparagus spears, trimmed
08 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - Lemon wedges, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear until golden brown, approximately 3 to 4 minutes per side.
03 - Remove the skillet from heat. Pour Caesar dressing evenly over the seared chicken breasts, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the chicken.
04 - Arrange asparagus spears around the chicken in the skillet. Season asparagus with garlic powder. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the asparagus is tender.
05 - Remove from the oven and garnish with lemon wedges. Serve immediately, drizzling with fresh lemon juice for added brightness.

# Notes:

01 - Bacon-wrapped asparagus may be substituted for additional flavor and texture.
02 - A lighter or homemade Caesar dressing allows greater control of nutritional content.
03 - Swap out asparagus for green beans or broccoli if preferred.
04 - For extra crunch, toss in croutons during the last few minutes of baking.
05 - Halved cherry tomatoes can be added for sweetness and color.
