# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3 tablespoons avocado oil, divided (or substitute with ghee or another high smoke point oil)
02 - 4 wild salmon filets, 6 ounces each
03 - 1 tablespoon blackened seasoning (adjust to taste)
04 - Lime wedges (optional, for serving)
05 - Fresh parsley (optional, for serving)

# Instructions:

01 - Blot each salmon filet dry, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of avocado oil, and sprinkle blackened seasoning evenly over the top. Allow to stand at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
02 - Heat 2 tablespoons of avocado oil in a non-stick or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
03 - Place the salmon filets top side down in the heated skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until nicely charred and the fish releases easily from the pan.
04 - Flip the salmon and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the fat begins to render and the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
05 - Serve immediately with lime wedges and parsley, if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Use a high smoke point oil to avoid burning during high-temperature cooking.
02 - Adjust blackened seasoning to suit individual preferences.
03 - This recipe can also be made with any firm white fish.
04 - Store cooked salmon in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
