Bang Bang Chicken Skewers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken and Seasonings

01 - 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon paprika
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

→ Bang Bang Sauce

07 - 1 cup mayonnaise
08 - 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon hot sauce, or more to taste
10 - 2 tablespoons honey
11 - 1 teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Cut the boneless, skinless chicken thighs into 1-inch cubes, ensuring uniform size for even cooking.
02 - Combine chicken cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Toss until evenly coated and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, honey, and salt until well combined. Set aside.
04 - Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto skewers, leaving a small gap between each piece. Avoid overcrowding to ensure proper air circulation during cooking.
05 - Generously brush the chicken skewers with some of the prepared Bang Bang sauce before cooking.
06 - Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place skewers in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
07 - Brush the cooked chicken skewers with additional Bang Bang sauce before serving.
08 - Garnish skewers with freshly chopped parsley or sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot with extra dipping sauce on the side.
